The critically acclaimed RPG is getting more evil endings that "evil players will be satisfied with", according to Larian boss Swen Vincke.
"I don't know what the specs are on the next gen [of gaming systems] yet, but I hope that it's going to bring us closer," says CEO Swen Vincke.
Larian founder Swen Vincke said the team was "elated" about the DLC cancellation and said its next title is "different" but "still familiar."
The studio is looking to shift away from Dungeons and Dragons for something new, according to founder Swen Vincke at GDC 2024.
"Production issues" caused a slight delay for the console versions of the $79.99 Deluxe Edition, with further updates incoming.
Hotfixes 20 and 21 are also finally available now for Xbox Series X/S players, fixing any issues with cross-platform saves.
Hotfixes 20 and 21 have been delayed on Xbox Series X/S due to a platform-exclusive "crash bug" that Larian is investigating.
Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox Series X/S missed the cut-off for 3 discs by around 500 MB.
The hotfix also adds crash safeguards for saves that won't load, fixes an infinite loot bug and makes some characters more sociable.
Larian Studios' acclaimed role-playing game achieved this in a "very short space of time," according to director of publishing Michael Douse.
Larian is working on "establishing a pipeline that lets mod authors release their mods across different platforms", as well as "forming a team to support mod curation."
It includes new Legendary actions in Honour Mode, additional idle animations in camp, and other quality-of-life features.
“As you turn the corner into 2024, you’re still going to have the tail from Baldur’s Gate 3,” said Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks.
The patch features quality-of-life improvements like prioritizing the player when dialogue automatically triggers and fixes for skills.
The patch is a "hefty one" and includes new camp idle animations, bug fixes and much more for the acclaimed role-playing game.
Save files generated by Error 544 should now be visible for players to delete on PS5 by heading into the "Load Game" menu.
Baldur's Gate 3's latest update now has Gale no longer quitting the party if you don't give him a magic item even once.
The action-adventure title is also nominated for Game of the Year, alongside Baldur's Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
A firmware update will be available next week. Larian Studios couldn't independently verify the fix, but it's "optimistic."
Waypoints now have categories for easier sorting, and cross-save will no longer sync modded playthroughs across all platforms.
