Dreams Beta Players Showcase the Game’s Impressive Creation Tools With “Visually Stunning, Cinematic” FPS

Media Molecule's upcoming title is shaping up to be a dream come true for the creative types.

There is no other studio quite on the same level as Media Molecule when it comes to delivering games with thorough and extensive creation tools that foster some of the best and most elaborate user generated content out there. The LittleBigPlanet games were ample evidence of that- but the studio’s upcoming Dreams is looking like it’s going to be on another level entirely.

We’ve already seen those who’re taking part in the currently ongoing Dreams beta do some excellent things with its creation tools, such as recreating fan-favourite horror titles like P.T. and Dead Space. Now, with the NDA on the beta having lifted, fans are coming out in full force to show how they’ve been flexing their creative muscles in Dreams. Perhaps the most impressive looking project we’ve seen so far has to be a first person shooter currently called Project Zero, which was shared by one of its creators on Twitter.

Described as a “visually stunning” and “cinematic” first person shooter with “solid momentum filled gunplay”, the creator says Project Zero is “currently under heavy development”. A bunch of screenshots from the project were also shared, showcasing impressive visuals and an interesting looking aesthetic for the title. Check it out below.

Though Dreams’s current beta is a closed one that only includes players that were selected on the basis of registration, a public beta is also scheduled to go live later this year. As for when the game launches in full- there is no word on that yet.
