An open beta for SNK’s Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has been announced for next month. It kicks off on February 20th at midnight PT and ends on February 24th, 11:59 PM PT for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.

There will be eight playable characters in three modes – Ranked Match, Casual Match and Room Match (all online). An offline Training mode is also available. Though the roster is unknown, players can experiment with the new REV System and control schemes – Arcade for the classic experience and Smart for single-button combos and moves.

Like with many other betas over the years, online play won’t require PlayStation Plus or Game Pass Core. Stay tuned for more details en route to its release.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available on April 24th. As a follow-up to Garou: Mark of the Wolves, it features several returning fighters like Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Gato, and more, alongside newcomers like Preecha and Vox Reaper. It even adds two characters from Street FighterKen and Chun-Li – as post-launch DLC.
