93. A Beautiful Day in Minecraft

Mojang has announced that Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace in August and will cost $19.99. If you already own the Xbox 360 Edition though, you’ll be able to upgrade for only $4.99 (though a retail version will be required). The upgrade will be available for a full year after the Xbox One Edition releases.

Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will promise bigger worlds and more “scenic vistas” along with the ability to import save data and your own Minecraft world. You can also import downloadable skins and texture parks into the Xbox One Edition though Mojang has stated that not everything will make the transition into next gen.

Nonetheless, you’ll be mining, styling and profiling in August if everything goes according to plan. How will future worlds (and most importantly, Achievement City) look on the Xbox One? We’ll be waiting to find out ourselves so stay tuned for more information.
