Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns – Ghostface Gameplay Features Lots of Stabbing

Ed Boon shares a short gameplay peek at the next DLC fighter, who's available on November 19th for Kombat Pack 2 owners.

The latest addition to Mortal Kombat 1’s roster is Ghostface from Scream, and he’ll be available early on November 19th for those who own the expansion, Khaos Reigns Bundle/Kollection. While we’ve seen some of his fancy masks, a new gameplay teaser from creator Ed Boon finally revealed how the serial killer fights. Spoiler: It involves gratuitous stabbing.

Given Ghostface’s identity, it makes sense for his gameplay to revolve around a second one jumping in to assist with combos. If nothing else, NetherRealm captured his sadistic personality while leaving room for plenty of humor (as seen in the opening interaction with Johnny Cage, complete with his iconic line).

Ghostface will be available for all players on November 26th. The next characters joining Kombat Pack 2 are the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Conan the Barbarian, though their release windows are unknown.
