Clovers won't necessarily work on a follow-up to classics like God Hand and Viewtiful Joe after development on the Okami sequel is done.
The sequel is in very early development, as Capcom's Yoshiaki Hirabayashi says, "It might take a little bit of time before we talk again."

2024 may not have been as jam-packed, but 2025 (and the following years) promises tons of incredible single-player titles.
"Clovers is a newborn in the games industry, and we’ll only grow and evolve from here," says studio head Hideki Kamiya.
The company also says it will be "some time" before it shares the next update for the title, and revealed that M-Two and Machine Head Works will be providing development assistance on the project.
The long-requested sequel sees the return of Amaterasu in a "new adventure." Development began recently under a new studio, Clovers.
Apparently, PlatinumGames and Capcom were working on the sequel together.
Hideki Kamiya has big plans for the future.
