The Blaster is Kay Vess’ primary firearm in Star Wars Outlaws, despite her ability to pick up and use a variety of other weapons. As such, you will want to upgrade the Blaster to its maximum potential. This guide has everything to know on finding every Blaster upgrade part and fully upgrading it.

How To Upgrade The Blaster

Upon completing the New Tricks quest, you will be able to perform Blaster upgrades aboard the Trailblazer, Kay’s ship, at the workbench using the prompt ‘Modify Blaster’.

Plasma Module

Standard firing module.

Light: default module

Anti-shield and anti-droid module. Stuns enemies, and starts devices.

Surge: complete The Viper quest

  • Blast Range

Power Module

Destructive module for the toughest adversaries and environmental obstructions.

Bolt: complete The Gunsmith quest

Blast: story unlock

Pulse: story unlock

  • Improved Passive Cooling

Available for purchase at armorers and merchants, or can be recovered from smugglers and Imperial bases. Used in the following modules to upgrade:

MG-2 Power Exceeder

Available for purchase at armorers, traders, and merchants, or can be recovered from smugglers and Imperial bases. Used in the following modules to upgrade:

Cryo-coil

Available for purchase at armorers or can be recovered from smugglers and Imperial bases. Used in the following modules to upgrade:

Actuating Module
