With multiple factions to align yourself with in Star Wars Outlaws, and many critical advantages to doing so, it can also be tiresome to play a balancing act while leveling each one up. This tips and tricks guide is intended to raise reputation with any and all factions as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Do Not Antagonize Syndicates

The first thing to know about raising faction reputation is how to avoid lowering reputation. Do not trespass in Syndicate-owned restricted areas, no matter how high your reputation is. And definitely do not attack faction members. Contract betrayal is also not recommended, no matter the payout potential.

Keep in mind that there will be an alternate access path to any given no-go zone, and that while stealth is somewhat broken, it is still present in the game for use. You can always save your game before attempting to infiltrate a secure zone, in the event of game-breaking bugs.

Storymode Choices

Kay will often be presented with a binary choice between factions, and these will have the obvious effect of lowering reputation with the faction not chosen, while raising it with the other. This is unavoidable, but can be mitigated by patching things up with the rejected faction through contract completion or faction questing, though even the latter can sometimes be a choice between factions.

When presented with a tough choice, choose to betray the faction with more accessible contracts, as you can then quickly make up the reputation loss with a few smuggling runs.

Contracts

These are the best avenue for reputation boosting with factions, especially since they are a perpetually repeatable source. Avoid making landfall for contracts as these tend to be stealth-based missions with an unreliable stealth mechanic in-game. Instead, lean on space-based jobs that have you smuggle or escort on behalf of clients. Despite the restriction on fast-travel, the mechanics are easier by far to complete.

Those are the primary methods for raising reputation with all Syndicates to the maximum.
